Doc Watson - Along The Road

Talentosíssimo instrumentista, compositor e cantor da turma dos “folk/country guitar players” como Merle Travis e Chet Atkins, mas fazendo uma maior fusão com o blues tradicional. Ainda criança perdeu a visão devido a redução do fluxo de sangue em seus olhos e mergulhou completamente na música, realizando discos antológicos e grandes apresentações, inclusive com seu filho Merle. Arrasava na técnica fingerpicking, dominando completamente o bluegrass. Influenciou inúmeros músicos como Clarence White, David Grisman, Tony Rice, Emmylou Harris e Allison Krauss com a autenticidade pura e emocional da sua obra.
