Bob Dylan - All Over You

Sua obra despejava toda a essência dos intelectuais e toda a cultura beat no som folk-blues tradicional urbano. Uma pessoa enigmática que atraía os músicos que participavam do círculo rock dos 60’s e todos queriam estar perto dele de alguma maneira. Os Byrds  abriram caminho com Mr. Tambourine Man: a guitarra dedilhada com a técnica de McGuinn, os vocais elaborados e a pegada rítmica “chapada” da canção foram essenciais na difusão do folk rock e o rumo certo para a psicodelia. O mundo do rock’n’roll esperava as composições de Dylan, seus folks eram devorados pelos cantores e bandas e ganhavam cores especiais em versões country rock, psicodélicas, folk rock, psych folk, blues rock, beat. Desde a garageira banda The Remains, as psicodélicas 13th Floor Elevators e Association, arranjos mais pop que levavam o compositor para todos os cantos, difundindo ainda mais seu trabalho, através do Manfred Mann, Turtles, Hollies (que gravaram um disco só com suas músicas em 1969), Tremeloes até homenagens surf music com os Ventures. Está presente também nos discaços Super Session com Al Kooper & Stephen Stills,  Rising Sons com Taj Mahal & Ry Cooder e no álbum símbolo do country rock Sweetheart of the Rodeo, inclusive You Ain’t Goin’ Nowhere foi lançado comercialmente pelos Byrds antes de Bob. Foi composta em 67 em Woodstock após o acidente de moto em suas “férias” com o The Band, mas o genial The Basement Tapes só foi lançado em 75 (e uma outra gravação de Dylan apareceu no Greatest Hits II). George Harrison no seu primeiro álbum grava Dylan com a sua cara, e sua guitarra dá o toque “harrisoniano” mais que especial. Dave Edmunds põe todo o peso necessário em Outlaw Blues lembrando o Love Sculpture, os Yardbirds nas sessões da BBC, The Band na inspiradora Big Pink e assim vai... É isso mesmo: Quem dava as cartas era Bob Dylan.
