Brinsley Schwarz - Wild Night

Lamento não ter conhecido essa banda antes. Sua sonoridade é como uma “pintura rock” com total equilíbrio nas cores de sua música. No início o “neo-psychedelic folk-rock” de Kippington Lodge e depois caminhando para o pub rock, country e R&B formando o Brinsley Schwarz, com influências dos Byrds, Van Morrison, Dave Edmunds e The Band. Embora o nome do grupo era o do guitarrista Brinsley Schwarz, o baixista Nick Lowe compunha a maior parte das canções. Lowe também desenvolveu um um estilo próprio nos vocais - de conversação, melódico  e engraçado e os Brinsleys foram se destacando por esse senso diferente de humor. Som perfeito.
