Dave Edmunds - Queen Of Hearts

Dave Edmunds é rock’n’roll básico com muito country, power-pop, rockabilly e rock turbulento. É um dos caras que mais gosto nesse meio, desde o blues-rock psicodélico do Love Sculpture até sua grandes interpretações dos rocks de Chuck Berry, uma de suas maiores influências desde os anos 60. Suas  apresentações ao vivo são de arrebentar, como a parcerias eletrizantes com os Stray Cats, Robert Plant, Keith Richards, e as "pauladas" instrumentais como Sabre Dance. Não posso deixar de comentar sobre "Blue Suede Shoes - A Rockabilly Session": um dos maiores shows de rock’n’roll do começo ao fim, com momentos históricos, num especial de TV no Limehouse Studios de Londres, que reuniu Carl Perkins, Dave Edmunds, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, entre outros. Your True Love é uma das apresentações mais lindas que já vi, uma pegada incrível. Dave e George fazem os backing perfeitos para Perkins e os três se revezam nos vocais principais, além dos solos feitos por George Harrison lembrando os Beatles no início de carreira, quando tocavam muito as canções de Carl Perkins.
