The Turtles - To See The Sun

-->  The Turtles é uma das mais representativas bandas dos 60’s indo muito além de Happy Together (que tirou os Beatles do topo das paradas!). Abraçavam o folk-rock dos Byrds com o pop dos Zombies direcionados pelas lindas harmonias vocais de Howard Kaylan e Mark Volman, passeando também, é claro, pela psicodelia. It Ain’t Me, Babe de Dylan mostra a perfeita fusão do folk + rock apenas três meses depois do hino do gênero Mr. Tambourine Man nas vozes (e guitarras) dos Byrds tomarem conta do universo do rock. 
  Uma curiosidade muito legal é que aqui no Brasil Surfer Dan foi tema do personagem principal na novela Beto Rockefeller em 1968/69 na TV Tupi, lembrando os primórdios da banda que tocava surf music. 
  Posso dizer que faziam um rock delicioso e atraente como em We'll Meet Again, You Baby, Too Young To Be, One How You Loved Me e She'd Rather Be With Me. E o que dizer sobre Lady-O, de 69, que é uma das músicas mais lindas que já ouvi? Uma mistura de Beatles com Simon & Gargunkel?
